Tuhelj is a picturesque place located between colorful small hills of Zagorje at the foot of the mountain Cesargrad in Croatia.
Tuhelj are spreading on the area of over 25 km2 and made of 10 villages: Banska Gorica, Črešnjevec, Glogovec Zagorski, Lenišće, Lipnica Zagorska, Pristava, Prosenik, Sveti Križ, Trsteno, Tuhelj and Tuheljske Toplice with a total of 2181 inhabitants.

In its history Tuhelj was known as the cultural, historical, religious and political center.
