Vrgadaa is a small island long just 3 km, located on the southeastern part of the Zadar archipelago near the town of Pakostane. The island is surrounded by pebbly and sandy coves, on the north and south of the island are mountains which more than two-thirds are covered by pine trees, and around the island are 15 small islets suitable for daily trips.
Pleasant pine woods and Mediterranean vegetation, a clean and shallow sea and many sandy beaches and coves will impress every visitor looking for a quiet holiday.

Vrgada is an island on which there are no cars, so it is an ideal destination for families with small children. The island can be reached by boat from Pakoštane where there is parking place. Shipping line to the island is 8 times a day.

On the island, there is one small grocery store, couple restaurants, one tavern and a pastry shop, all the rest can be found in Pakostane. In Vrgada, there are no hotels, and accommodation is offered in family homes in private apartments and rooms.
